Investment Thesis
Industrial waste heat is a persistent, underused energy resource across energy-intensive manufacturing. Steel, cement, glass, chemicals and other industrial processes continuously release heat that is often difficult to recover economically at distributed or constrained locations. NISO Energy is developing modular thermoelectric systems to convert suitable waste heat into useful on-site electricity.
Large, durable opportunity
Waste heat is inherent to many industrial processes. NISO is targeting sites where sufficient heat availability, operating hours, access, cooling capability and electricity value can support an economically viable project. The immediate objective is to prove a repeatable application and then expand across qualified industrial sites.
Hybrid Project + Recurring Revenue Model
NISO intends to generate revenue from project development and technology delivery, ongoing asset-support services and performance-linked revenue based on verified net electricity generation. Commercial assets may be funded by the host or third-party project capital, allowing NISO to participate in long-term project economics without having to finance every installation directly.

Disciplined validation path
NISO is advancing from laboratory module validation toward integrated panel engineering and industrial pilot validation. The development path is structured around measurable gates including net power, parasitic load, thermal-cycling durability, installation cost, uptime and site-specific economics.
Defensible system position
NISO is building more than a thermoelectric module. The development focus includes the thermal interface, module architecture, cold-side heat rejection, power conditioning, packaging, controls and industrial installation approach required to turn suitable waste heat into usable electricity. The intended competitive position is in industrial heat sources where conventional waste-heat-recovery approaches can be difficult to apply because of scale, geometry, access, operating profile or integration requirements. NISO's defensibility must ultimately be demonstrated through measured system performance, reliability, installed cost and repeatable deployment.

Commercialization Pathway
NISO is pursuing a Proof → Pilot → Orders → Scale progression. The steel pilot is the first step: demonstrating that the system performs as designed under real industrial conditions. All subsequent stages depend on successful pilot outcomes.
NISO combines project revenue with recurring service and performance-linked revenue. Commercial installations may be funded by the host or third-party financing partners, while detailed pricing, ownership, insurance, maintenance and risk-allocation terms are defined in the final project agreement.
Successful pilot data is the foundation for additional host sites in steel, followed by expansion into cement, glass, and chemical processing. Any timeline is a target dependent on funding, successful testing and industrial-partner participation.
